The Tralf Music Hall in the theater district of downtown Buffalo has announced it will be closing its doors. After many years of hosting local musicians and smaller bands from around the country, the venue on main street will be shutting down. Fortunately, this won’t be the last we see of the Tralf. Word has it that they’ll be around in the future, but where?
We Need More Music
The Tralf was a great place to see small musicians perform and sit down at a table to enjoy music for an evening. We hope that the Tralf will come back strong even if it is located somewhere else. Buffalo, NY has a strong music presence with many different venues. We’ve seen in recent years more venues open up. For example, the Waiting Room located on Delaware closed down several years ago, and then re-opened a bar/music scene in another location a few years ago.
Western New Yorkers Should Be Excited for the Future
There has always been a mystery as to why some people move to the Western New York area. For one, we know that it is less expensive for renters than many other parts of the country. The job market is growing at a steady pace, and there are so many places to explore and activities to do now. Buffalo is a growing city, and it’s only going to get better.
With the Tralf shutting down, this only means that we’ll see it open up somewhere else.
Living in Western New York
For many people out there, who are thinking of relocating to a new city or area of the country, we encourage you to consider Buffalo, NY. As we said above, it is a growing city, which means there will be a good amount of excitement behind new music venues, restaurants, bars, and activities.
Another great thing about this area is that you can have both the city life and the quiet life. Living in Grand Island NY, you get both of these at Town Hall Terrace. Located just a short drive to either Niagara Falls or the city of Buffalo, you won’t have to deal with the noise. We’re excited to see what new thing pops up in the area.
